Care Services

 Adult and Elderly Home Care

The Cherish UK home care program aims to provide a range of basic support services to enable clients to continue living at home and in their community, as well as enhancing their quality of life. Services can include personal care; domestic assistance; meal preparation; social support and transport.

Referrals can be provided through various avenues such as your doctor, community health centres, councils, or friends, family or self-referrals. After a referral is received, either the care coordinator or a senior member of the care team will make an appointment to come out and see you to talk about our services available to you.

Dementia Specialists

Cherish UK has developed a specialist care and support service to help older people with dementia and associated behavioural conditions to remain at home, as an alternative to moving into a residential facility. They are flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the client. Cherish UK will work with you and/or your representative to design a package of services to meet your individual requirements, preferences and circumstances.

Services that we can provide within your care package include, personal care and hygiene; dressing and grooming; meal preparation; home help with domestic tasks, shopping, banking and social outings

End of Life Care

End of Life Care provided by Cherish UK focuses on personalized care and support to enable clients with a life limiting illness to live in dignity at the end of their life and provide the support required to stay at home as long as possible.

Care services required may include personal care, domestic support, respite and spiritual or pastoral care. Cherish works alongside GP’s / local health authority and other specialists to coordinate care that encompasses physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions.

Our team of specially trained carers will ensure that you and your loved ones are supported through the process and ensure that all care needs are considered and taken care of.

Reablement, Rehabilitation and Hospital Discharge Services

Home care reablement is an approach to delivering home care that enables people to undertake daily living tasks themselves with assistance or just encouragement.

Cherish will help to prevent deterioration in the health needs of our clients and to help them to regain as much independence as possible.

Above all, re-ablement aims to maximise independence and quality of life in older age, whilst at the same time increasing independence, enabling people to live at home for longer and minimising re-admission to hospital.
